Three Great Dates (Register by September 22, 2024)

Catholic couples from the New Albany Deanery are invited to a special date night featuring Mass, dinner, and a presentation on the “Truth & Beauty of Marriage.” This event is the first in the Three Great Dates series, taking place on Saturday, September 28, at Our Lady of Perpetual Help in New Albany. The evening begins with Mass at 5:30 p.m., followed by dinner at 6:30 p.m. and the presentation afterward. Our featured speaker, Brendan McCauley, co-founder and president of Humanum Project, will explore the profound truths about sacredness, beauty, and sacramentality of marriage. MSM: Kickoff Carnival (register by September 1, 2024)

The new school year is bustling, and assignments are stacking up fast. How about a breather? Join us for the first Middle School Monthly event of the year! The Kickoff Carnival is happening on Saturday, September 7 from 1-4pm at Sacred Heart in Jeffersonville (1842 E 8th St). With face painting, dunk tanks, popcorn, and snow cones, the Kickoff Carnival is sure to be a hit. So, step right up for an afternoon of fun in the sun! MSM events are open to 6th, 7th, and 8th graders of New Albany Deanery parishes and schools. Register by Sept. 1 at catalystcatholic.org/msm.

Catalyst Catholic Gala (August 24, 2024)

Join us for a night to honor, support, and celebrate the ministers of the New Albany Deanery at the 2024 Catalyst Catholic Gala. Held on Saturday, August 24 (doors open at 6pm) at Huber’s Plantation Hall (19816 Huber Rd, Borden, IN 47106) guests will enjoy an elegant dinner from Huber’s, live music by pianist Tim Murner, and inspiring stories that highlight the ministers and youth from across the deanery. This is an opportunity to come together as a community and make a positive impact in our deanery. There is no cost to attend, but reservations are required at catalystcatholic.org/become-a-catalyst

Gala Católica Catalizador (24 de agosto de 2024)

Únase a nosotros para una noche para honrar, apoyar y celebrar a los ministros del Decanato de New Albany en la Gala Católica Catalyst 2024. Celebrada el sábado 24 de agosto (las puertas se abren a las 6 p. m.) en Huber's Plantation Hall (19816 Huber Rd, Borden, IN 47106), los invitados disfrutarán de una elegante cena de Huber's, música en vivo del pianista Tim Murner e historias inspiradoras que destacan a los ministros y jóvenes de todo el decanato. Esta es una oportunidad para unirnos como comunidad y generar un impacto positivo en nuestro decanato. Soccer Tournament for Vocations (October 5, 2024)

The Archdiocese of Indianapolis will be hosting a one-day, coed soccer tournament for vocations on Saturday, October 5 at Bishop Simon Bruté College Seminary. Teams will be divided into a minor league (12-15 years old) and a major league (16-18 years old). Registration and tournament rules are are available at heargodscall.com/vocation-soccer-tournament. Each youth and coach is required to register individually online. There is no cost to this tournament, so gather your friends and make plans to participate.

Torneo de Fútbol por las Vocaciones (5 de octubre de 2024)
La Arquidiócesis de Indianápolis organizará un torneo de fútbol mixto para vocaciones de un día de duración el sábado 5 de octubre en el Bishop Simon Bruté College Seminary. Los equipos se dividirán en una liga menor (de 12 a 15 años) y una liga mayor (de 16 a 18 años). El registro y las reglas del torneo están disponibles en https://heargodscall.com/vocation-soccer-tournament. Cada joven y entrenador debe registrarse individualmente en línea. Media kits are the place to download any and all promotional materials for Catalyst Catholic events. Some tips you may find handy:

• For images: right click and select “Save image as…” to save to your computer. These are best used in your bulletin or on social media, though they can be printed out as well.

• For PDF files: Click the button to open the file in a new tab. If you are using Google Chrome (which we recommend) there is a icon in the top right with an arrow point down. After clicking this, chose a place to save your file. PDF files are best for printing and hanging on a bulletin board, or wherever you advertise your events. Catalyst is happy to provide files printed in color at each month’s networking meeting.

• For text: If you choose not to use our images in your bulletin, you may copy and paste the text for each event. This will often not include every detail families need, so please be sure to keep the website link and/or contact information for Catalyst so they can contact us.
