ELIGIBILITY:

Co-ed soccer is open to youth in grades 3 through 8.
Athletes must attend a Catholic school in the New Albany Deanery or be registered member of a Catholic parish in the New Albany Deanery.
Athletes may not participate on both a public school soccer team and a deanery/parish team during the same season.
Coaches reserve the right to limit an athlete’s participation due to injury risk, behavioral concerns, or lack of practice attendance.

REGISTRATION:

To register for soccer, please contact your local parish athletic director, as registration details vary by parish.
If your parish does not offer co-ed soccer, please contact raymond@catalystcatholic.org for assistance.

SCHEDULES:

Practices are held at local parishes and parks, depending on availability. Each parish will provide a full practice schedule.
- Practices typically last 1–1.5 hours and are held 2–3 times per week, depending on the division’s age group.
Games will take place March 27 through May 5 on Tuesdays and Fridays.
- Games rescheduled due to weather will be any night of the week.

The season tournament will be held May 12–16.
Parents are responsible for transporting athletes to all practices and games.

Catalyst Catholic is blessed with an outstanding team of volunteer coaches. To learn more about coaching opportunities at your parish, please contact your parish athletic director. All adult volunteers are required to complete standard volunteer requirements.

Catalyst Catholic Athletics is a ministry of the New Albany Deanery, providing athletic opportunities for elementary, middle school, and high school youth who attend a Catholic parish or school within Clark, Floyd, or Harrison counties in Indiana. Through athletic ministry, Catalyst Catholic is dedicated to giving athletes a positive environment where they can develop fundamental skills of the game while growing with their Catholic community. Our Athletic Ministry program is overseen by athletic directors at participating parishes who govern and advise based on the following policies:
