A night to remember, a night to celebrate! Grab your glow sticks and glow-in-the-dark face paint! Wear your best neon and white clothing for a blacklight evening of glowing and grooving. Whether you attend a deanery Catholic school or Catholic Church, all 8th-grade graduates in the New Albany Deanery are welcome.

When: Friday, May 24, 2024 from 6-9 pm.

Where: Knights of Columbus Hall (809 E. Main Street / New Albany, IN 47150)

For who: all 8th-grade graduates of the New Albany Deanery

Cost: $20 (includes dinner)

Attire: Youth are encouraged to wear clothing that glows in the blacklight.

  • This is a parish/school event. Clothing should be dress code appropriate in length and style. (No short shorts, crop tops, see thru-clothing, or sagging clothing. Youth who choose to wear such items will be turned away at the door.)

  • This is not a formal dance; casual clothing is appropriate.

  • A word of warning: thin white shirts and skirts (like slip dresses) will show undergarments. To avoid awkwardness, we encourage youth to consider wearing some color or pattern and/or a base layer under white clothing.

A few important details:

  • Registration is due by Sunday, May 19, 2024 at 11:59pm. Those who contact us after this deadline will be added to a waitlist.

  • Parent volunteers are welcomed and appreciated! In order to have a safe and successful event, we will have one adult per every ten youth in attendance. If you wish to chaperone this event, please email Kelli. All parent chaperones must have a background check and Safe Parish training on file.

  • Youth will not be permitted to exit the building until pick up. There will be no pass-outs.

  • The KofC Hall has limited parking which is needed for chaperones and staff. We will be utilizing the Knight’s fish fry drive-through plan for efficiency.
