The staff of Catalyst Catholic bring a passion for the Catholic faith and experience in various areas of ministry to the New Albany Deanery office. We look forward to meeting you soon. Stop by and say “hi!” at 101 St. Anthony Dr. / Mt. St. Francis, IN 47146.
Originally from LaPorte, Indiana, Michelle has been active in ministry from a young age—serving as a youth leader at both the parish and diocesan levels. She earned a degree in public relations and advertising from Franklin College, a background that continues to support her work in the New Albany Deanery.
After marrying her college sweetheart, Kevin, she moved to Harrison County and began her ministry career in 2002 at Our Lady of Perpetual Help in New Albany. She later served for ten years as DRE and Pastoral Associate at St. Mary Catholic Church in Lanesville before joining the Catalyst staff in 2019.
Michelle and Kevin live in Harrison County with their three children. Their family is active at St. Michael Catholic Church in Bradford and deeply involved in Harrison County 4-H and athletics at North Harrison Community Schools.
“I’m grateful to serve those who serve youth,” Michelle says. “The New Albany Deanery is a one-of-a-kind partnership, where sharing resources strengthens all our parishes.”

Originally from Dubois, Indiana, Kelli moved to New Albany in 2019 and is now a member of Holy Family Catholic Church—conveniently located just a short walk from her front door. She studied at Ball State University, earning a degree in advertising while working as a web designer and developer on the side.
Kelli unexpectedly found her way into parish ministry in February of 2020 as Director of Communications at Holy Family. She later served as Pastoral Associate, coordinating RCIA, women’s ministry, and volunteer engagement. After spending a transformative year discerning religious life in Minnesota (during which she didn’t see grass for nearly six months), she returned to New Albany and joined the Catalyst Catholic team in 2023.
Kelli is passionate about “ministering to the ministers,” supporting parish leaders who serve on the front lines of evangelization so they know they are never alone in the mission of the Church.
She enjoys coffee, puzzles, fresh flowers, and roller coasters, and is slowly becoming a Notre Dame football fan thanks to her fiancé, Matthew. The two are preparing for their May 2026 wedding and look forward to many years in the New Albany area.

Raymond grew up in Louisville, Kentucky, where he attended St. Lawrence Catholic Church and School before graduating from Holy Cross High School. He married his high school sweetheart, Deborah, and together they have five children and ten grandchildren who keep life lively and loud in all the best ways. Since moving to the “sunny side” of Louisville in 2002, they have been active members of St. Mary of the Knobs Catholic Church.
With 34 years of business experience as a new product manager and board member at his family’s company, Zoeller Co., Raymond brings both leadership and energy to his ministry. He’s passionate about helping youth encounter Christ through athletics and believes every team should focus on four goals: honor God, do your best, improve your skills, and have fun.
A lifelong athlete and an avid LouCity soccer fan, Raymond has coached the sport for many years and still finds ways to stay in the game. He currently serves on the boards of Southern Indiana United and River City Jaguars. At SIU, he oversees roughly 700 players each season as VP of Rec. At RCJ, he previously coached varsity and junior varsity while also managing the behind-the-scenes logistics that keep teams running.

Steve was born and raised in Lanesville, Indiana, where he has been a lifelong member of St. Mary’s Catholic Church. Over the years, he has served his parish in many ways—from the Finance Committee to the food pantry, parish picnic, and ushering—always ready to lend a hand where needed.
After retiring from a 22-year career at Caldwell Tanks, Steve joined Catalyst Catholic part-time in 2023. Officially, he serves as Financial Coordinator, overseeing budgets, expenses, and day-to-day accounting. Unofficially, he’s also our go-to backup guy for staffing athletic events, carrying heavy items, and whatever other random tasks we throw at him.
In addition to his work with Catalyst, Steve currently serves as Treasurer for both Right to Life of Southern Indiana and the Knights of Columbus Council #1808 in Lanesville.
Steve and his wife, Mary, have been married for 42 years and have two daughters and four grandchildren. He loves hiking, reading, and cheering in the bleachers at his grandkids’ sporting events. A devoted IU and Cincinnati Reds fan, he believes some of the best evangelization happens in the stands.
Supporting youth ministry behind the scenes brings him great satisfaction. “It’s very rewarding,” Steve says. “I get to work with really great people.”
