2019 Boys Tennis Registration Information

Who: Boys tennis is open to athletes in 3 – 8 grade. (Girls tennis is offered in the spring.) Participants must attend a Catholic school in the New Albany Deanery or be a registered member of a Catholic parish in the New Albany Deanery. Participants are not permitted play for their public school team and Catalyst team at the same time.

When and Where:  Practices are held at Community Park in New Albany or at Providence High School in Clarksville. A practice schedule will be announced at the registration night.

Cost: $70 per athlete

How to Register:  A registration night will be held on Sunday, July 21 at Providence High School at 7pm. Please attend this informative meeting. Catalyst Catholic is pleased to provide a streamlined registration program, Final Forms, for tennis this year.

Equipment:  Athletes are required to provide their own racket and shoes. All athletes will also be required to purchase a uniform (cost TBD).  Tennis balls will be provided. 

Practice and Game Information:

  • Practices will typically last between 1-1.5 hours and will be held 2-3 times a week depending on the age of the athlete.

  • Parents are responsible for transporting their player to practices and scheduled games. 

  • Practice and game schedule will be communicated at the first practice session.

Coaches: Catalyst Catholic is blessed with an outstanding team of volunteer coaches. Adults, 18+ years of age, must complete the following requirements:

·      Safe and Sacred Training

·      Background Check

·      Concussion Protocol Training
