Philip joined Catalyst Catholic in August of 2017 as the Director. He is responsible for overseeing all operations and has a passion and vision for forming missionary disciples in the deanery.
Working directly with our college and young adults ministries, Philip has a desire to encourage and empower the domestic church with a head/heart formation within an authentic Catholic community. He studied at the Franciscan University of Steubenville where he obtained his Bachelor’s in Theology and Catechetics: Youth Ministry and later his Master’s in Theology and Christian Ministry. He is a husband of 8 years to his lovely wife Jami and a blessed father to their 5 children: Simon, Micah, Issac, Neri, and Zelie. They live in Corydon, Indiana, where his house is always clean and they get plenty of sleep.
ASSOCIATE DIRECTOR OF ATHLETICS
Justin makes his way to Catalyst Catholic after stays in San Diego and Cincinnati. Justin received his Bachelors in Sport Management and Master’s in Sport Administration from Xavier University. While there, he helped with youth ministry at a Dominican-led parish in the area and volunteered at many local high schools with their athletics programs. Justin is engaged to his lovely fiancée Laura, who is excited to join him in Southern Indiana after they get married next June. He is an avid disc golfer who loves to try to get people to like disc golf as much as he does and is excited to try new courses in the Southern Indiana and Louisville metro area. Justin is also a sucker for a good pun or dad joke. In fact, he once entered ten puns into a contest to see if any would win, but no pun in ten did. He is excited to share his passion for athletics and the Catholic faith with everyone in the Southern Indiana area.

Michelle received a Bachelor’s degree in Advertising and Public Relations from Franklin College and has taken a variety of continuing education courses, working towards a Masters in Pastoral Theology at St. Meinrad Seminary and School of Theology. Michelle and her husband, Kevin, reside in rural Harrison County with three children: Brody, age 14; Bryce, age, 12; and Abby, age 7. The family raises pigs and chickens for the Harrison County 4H program and is avid participants in North Harrison sports. (Read between the lines: Michelle is their prayer warrior, teacher, taxi, chef, laundress, medic, secretary, schedule-keeper, and number one fan!)
DESIGN AND COMMUNICATIONS CONSULTANT
Emma joined Catalyst Catholic in May of 2018 to help provide strategic direction and training for branding, web, design, and communications initiatives. She has worked in Catholic education at the university and high school levels, earning her bachelor's in communications and business and a master's in business administration. She and her husband David are passionate about effective, faithful Catholic education and youth ministry and regularly serve as core members for local parishes. After two generations of Moran boys, they thought it was statistically near-impossible to have girls... They now spend most of their time having no idea what they're doing as they raise two feisty, smart, and beautiful daughters, Chiara (3) and Riley (1). Emma is also the cofounder of Catholic Women in Business and serves on the board for FIERCE Athlete.
Luciana Sandoval is our C.J. Smith intern for the summer. She is currently a student at Butler University, studying Biology on a pre-med track and aspiring to become a pediatric cardiologist. Her deep loves begin with God and her Catholic faith, her family, service, and coffee. Luciana strives to live her life as a servant to God’s people. Whether it be through being a Resident Assistant, an intern for the deanery, or a physician, she hopes to be Christ’s hands and feet on this earth. She loves exploring coffee shops and is always up for doing something adventurous, like jumping out of a plane this year on her birthday. She was on our youth ministry high school team (YMAT) years ago and now returns with a passion for evangelization and bringing joy to all those she encounters.
