HELP US REACH $100,000!
Support Us Today!
In our efforts to reach the young church and bring all souls to Christ, we have renewed our mission and vision.
We strive to bring the young church to discipleship by partnering with the pastors and youth leaders of every parish. We exist to serve the parishes as an aid in the trenches—we are Catalyst Catholic.
Why the Rebrand?
A new name and identity to more clearly speak our relationship and mission to parishes of the New Albany Deanery. We exist to serve our parishes—to be a catalyst for formation and to partner with them in bringing the young church to discipleship.
Why the New Logo?
Imaging the seven gifts of the Holy Spirit with each tongue of fire, the new logo embodies the zeal of our patron, St. John the Baptist. This new image will more effectively engage today’s young generation and culture, and can be proudly displayed as we prepare the way of the Lord.
What’s the Goal?
To unite the young church of the New Albany Deanery and bring it to true discipleship—to know and follow Christ within the fullness of His Church, always and everywhere.

Work of Angels Campaign ‘18-19
We kicked the campaign off at our annual dinner on August 24, 2018. Our keynote speaker was Archbishop Charles Thompson. Attendees also heard heartfelt witnesses from Josey Waterbury, Tyler Huber, Leah & Brendan Kelly. Seth Ernstberger concluded the evening with a challenge to support the building of the young church. As a community, we dedicate this next year to this scripture focus:
“Go therefore and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father,, and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all that I have commanded you: and lo, I am with you always, to the close of the age.” Matthew 28: 19-20
As of January 2, 2019 the total pledged is $93,719.
We are able to do what we do because of the continued success of the Work of Angels campaign.
In a time when others may be considering an exit from the Church, we want to foster disciples. We also have dreams and hopes for the future…
Expanding our college and young adult ministry
Empowering formation of young faith leaders
Identifying key ways we can better resource and serve our parishes
Strengthening our athletic ministry with retreat days for athletes, coaches, fans and parents
Will you help us better serve our parishes, youth, and families?
