WHO IS CJ?
C.J.  Smith grew up in Starlight, Indiana, and was an active youth leader at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church. He was an officer for his parish CYO as well as vice president of the deanery youth council.  C.J. was a shining example of leadership, service, and courage.  He passed away in 1975 during his young adult years; but not before his family and friends realized the enormous impact he had on others by the way he lived his life and his faith. Read an inspiring excerpt from C.J.’s journal here.

Thanks to the generous support of the family and friends of CJ Smith, Catalyst Catholic can provide two internships annually to young adults who are (or will be in the coming year) considering a lifelong career or vocation that positively impacts youth. Each $5000 internship stipend will be written directly to the school's bursar office for application toward tuition or room and board after each semester.
