Originally from LaPorte, Indiana, Michelle felt a call to ministry at a young age. She was an active participant in parish youth ministry, a member of the youth activities team for the Gary Dioceses, and a first-grade catechist at her local parish, St. Peter Catholic Church. She later pursued her bachelor’s degree at Franklin College in public relations and advertising - a skill set that continues to serve her well in her role in the New Albany Deanery. In 2001, she married her college sweetheart, Kevin, and moved to Harrison County where the couple still resides. Kevin and Michelle have three children, Brody (age 18), Bryce (age 16), and Abigail (age 10) who keep them busy and involved in their community. The family belongs to St. Michael Catholic Church in Bradford and participates in Harrison County 4H and various athletics in North Harrison Community Schools. In 2002, Michelle began her youth ministry career at Our Lady of Perpetual Help in New Albany. In 2009, she moved to St. Mary Catholic Church in Lanesville, where she spent ten years as the parish DRE and Pastoral Associate. “I am grateful to have the opportunity to serve those who serve youth in our parishes,” said Michelle. “The New Albany Deanery is a one-of-a-kind, unique partnership of parish leaders. It is of great benefit to the larger Catholic community when parishes share resources and the talents of ministers among churches in the three-county area.”

Raymond grew up in Louisville, KY. As a youth, he attended St. Lawrence Catholic Church and school and is a graduate of Holy Cross High School. Raymond married his high school sweetheart, Deborah, and has five children ranging in age from 16 to 29 (Brittney, Jennifer, Nicholas, Jacob, and Grace). Since moving to the "sunny side" of Louisville in 2002, the couple has homeschooled their children and attended St. Mary of the Knobs Catholic Church. Raymond has 34 years of business experience as a new product manager and member of the board of directors of his family's business, Zoeller Co.
Raymond has a passion for helping youth connect ministry and athletics. He believes that all teams should focus on four goals: honoring God, doing your best, improving your skills, and having fun. Raymond has played sports his whole life and enjoyed coaching soccer (until his knees said "stop!"). He is currently on the board of directors for two local soccer clubs – Southern Indiana United and River City Jaguars. He was a coach and currently serves as the VP of Rec for SIU responsible for approximately 700 players each season. For RCJ, he coached varsity and junior varsity for several years while doing all the other administrative work required of the team.
